IE8 Support Discontinued


With the deadline for Windows XP end-of-support rapidly approaching, M3 and all related products will be discontinuing support of Internet Explorer 8 as of April 12, 2014

What does this mean for Me?

To check your browser version, go to: If your browser is anything other than Internet Explorer, OR if your browser is Internet Explorer version 9 or higher, you are fine. Otherwise, read on.

For users of Windows Vista or higher:

If you are using Internet Explorer in Windows Vista, 7, 8, or 8.1, make sure you have upgraded to the latest Internet Explorer before April 12. Internet Explorer updates are released through Windows Update. You can follow the methods listed at to manually upgrade.

For users of Windows XP or lower:

If you have the option of upgrading to a newer version of Windows, we recommend you do so. Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 come with IE 10/11 by default.

Windows XP does not support Internet Explorer beyond version 8. However, there are numerous other browsers which may be installed and which will work perfectly well with M3 on XP. If you do not have the option of upgrading to a supported version of Windows, consider installing one of these browsers.
